Exiles and Kings examines the modern history of English cricket and at times the uneasy relationship of the impact players from Africa have had on it. It looks at 12 cricketers of African origin and their impact on the game in this country, players featured include Mike Procter, Tony Greig and Kevin Pietersen.

From the traumas of the late summer of 1968 through the years of exile and rebellion through to the redemption delivered at The Oval in 2005, this is a detailed history of the ever growing influence of Africa has had and is having on the English game.
